Here’s why…everyone starts out with the attitude of success, but time goes by and maybe our business doesn’t do as well as we’d thought and our persistance and hopes for the future start to wane.

With the new year approaching it’s time to be realistic and take a good hard look at how much we’ve already accomplished and if there’s anything we can do to get our winning attitudes back.

A home based business is just like any other business, the only difference is you are doing it from home.

Revisit your goal sheet and ask yourself how hard you’ve strived to get to where you are today. How much have you slacked off or dropped the ball? Now is the time I will suggest to you that assessing your goals shouldn’t be a yearly event - it should be a monthly or even weekly event.

Give yourself a boost. Pat yourself on the back and keep striving to reach the goals you’ve set and be proud of those you’ve reached.

This helps get your attitude back on track. With your attitude in check it’s harder to get discouraged.

Here’s another aspect of your mental state that can either make or break you…

Persistance!

Persistance is the only difference between a success and a failure. Many businesses (online or off) started out poorly but when persistance was added to the mix they turned into big money makers. If something’s not working - change it. If one aspect of your business isn’t getting results - drop it and focus your energies elsewhere. The other side of the coin is to quit, throw in the towel and give up. You’ll never make a success of that.

The process of getting started was the hardest part. Once a business has begun, the only way is forward and up. Something that is started can be tweaked, repaired, altered, edited, and twisted in a way that it will keep changing, growing and getting better results than it did previously.

Persistence is the key, the second component to success. It will make your business grow. It will make your business profitable. It will teach you lessons and take you places you never thought you’d go. And you will keep on going and growing along with it.

You must strive forward, keep at it.

Attitude is everything. Persistance pays. As many home based business owners will attest to.
